Apple Season Begins Saturday, September 6!
Apple season has started at Garden Patch Farms! While we rely on Mother Nature to bring us a fruitful crop, this year wasn't as great as last year. However, don't fear! The farm will still be open! Below are the details to this year's schedule!
As opposed to last year and due to our extremely cold winter, all of our own apples have already been harvested for you. Additionally, we are bringing more varieties of fresh apples to the farm from our certified growing partners. With that said, we are sad to say that apples are not available to pick off the trees but are available in bins in our field.
Varieties available: Honeycrisp, Macintosh, Cortland, Gala, Empire, Golden Delicious, Jonathan, Jonagold, Rome, and Mustsu.
Apples are $1.50/lb. - Honeycrisp are $2/lb.
Apples are also available by the half bushel for $25 (approximately 25 lbs.)- Honeycrisp- $45
Also, there are vegetables to pick from our field. They are all listed on the left side of this page.
On weekends only, visitors to the farm will have access to unlimited hayrack rides (weather permitting) and to activities in the field such as: feeding the chickens, visiting our farm friendly goat and pig, and our jump house.
*On Saturday, October 18th, we will not have hayrack rides as the rain has prohibited us from driving in the field.
Apple Cider Donuts, FRESH Apple Cider and Caramel Apples!
